Composting at the Klee!
We now have a composting bin (it is the green colored bin, labeld "Yard Waste") available in the P2 garage next to the recycle bins.  Composting is a great way to reduce garbage and greenhouse gases harmful to the environment.

What is Compostable?

Food Scraps:  fruits, vegetables, coffee grounds & filters, tea bags, shells & bones, pasta & rice, eggshells, nutshells, bread & grains, meat, fish, dairy.

Food Soiled Paper:  paper bags, towels, newspaper, greasy pizza boxes, uncoated paper plates

Yard Waste: flowers, house plants, grass clippings, leave/twigs/branches (under 4 in. long & 4 in. thick)

There are numerous reasons why composting is beneficial for us and the environment.  Please take a moment to visit the links below and learn more about composting and why it is important.
